Oracle sta finalmente rivelando in pratica come sarà lo sviluppo di Solaris. Entro fine years will see the light Solaris 11 Express , before Solaris 11, which in turn will be released in 2011.
New features in Solaris 11 Express are visible in the slides by Lisa in 2010 this blog post. And yes, is included in ZFS deduplication !
In the first slide I find confirmation of what I've always thought of new strategies is becoming the Solaris operating system for high-end systems, while all other systems is Oracle Enterprise Linux, now with the new Oracle kernel.
