From "The Gazzettino" Law on languages of the historical Venetian FVG

Thursday, January 22 2009, Trieste

Arlef by Transforming the regional agency for the Friulian language to a kind of general linguistics agency appointed to care about the protection and enhancement of the languages and dialects of the Veneto Friuli Venezia Giulia. E 'as envisaged by the proposal law signed by the parent company of Citizens-Italy of Values Piero Colussi, supported by Rainbow Left, and acceptable to the Democratic Party is considering.
The dialects are venetofoni very popular in the Friuli Venezia Giulia than you think. There is not only the coast (from Muggia to Marano) - it was said yesterday - but the same center of Udine, where traditionally the better-off classes are expressed more in Veneto and in Friuli. Colussi clear, however, that the level of protection would not be the same in Friuli is not expected to work or school education or in place names. It is thought rather than the protection of a heritage that, according to Roberto Antonaz (Rainbow Left) 'is not only the region but of all mankind. " Protecting
so differently venetofoni idioms, including Bisiach and Trieste - This is the philosophy that emerges from the arc Intesa Democratic. And avoid extravagance and opposition, hence the proposal not to create another agency. "It is time to duplication. In addition to expanding Arlef - Colussi says - you can overcome those cultural barriers that belong to a past not encouraging ", although as noted by his colleague Trieste Students Barbarossa" the civilization of a people is measured on the protection of cultures of the past. " The names that embody this civilization and land are so many different times: from Grado Biagio Marin, the Pordenone Gianmario Villalta, Bisiach to Ivan Jack, Claudio Grisancich to Trieste. The proposal
Citizens-IDV-Sinistra Arcobaleno - leaving box blank funding - is the third on the carpet of the Regional Council: Two similar have already been presented by the center, first Firmat respectively Piero Camber (PDL) and Federico Razza (Lega Nord). The most likely second Colussi, is that you will find a summary in the select committee, but Antonaz is not confident about the availability of the majority: "There is in them a different attitude, one of those who want an element of local languages difference, which creates walls and distances. "
the need to protect the dialects, however, is spreading. From time the Association Harmony collects signatures for the protection of the dialect of Trieste offers all political parties regardless of deployment and the City Council of Ronchi in 2007 had unanimously approved an agenda for the protection of Bisiacaria. Different cultures, but no less important, and sometimes collect appreciation nell'estero away. How do you remember Jack, the Grado Biagio Marin is also translated in China, unlike many authors in Italian.

How Long Does It Take To Get A Va Appraisal

Ettore Busetto, a poet in the Veneto Pordenone

Ettore ETTORE BUSETTO Busetto (Pordenone 1909 to 1978) lived and worked in Pordenone, becoming one of the most representative and most remembered of the city, even thirty years after his death. He was taken to the electric Treviso (Enel) and then holding business he founded. In the 20's the first contact with the theater, along with interest in poetry took him for a lifetime. A first experience in amateur dramatics of the youth club "Blessed Odorico" follows the dramatic society participation in the OND which debuted in 1932. The following year, the complex follows the first prize in the third contest between the dramatic societies of Friuli with a work that saw Hector Busetto protagonist. In 1940 he was appointed director of the amateur dramatics of the OND Cotonificio Veneziano. Experience that will close, and its participation in the theater (we will only list only to recite some poetry). The love for the theater but did not end in a poet who writes One-act: "The roads of life." In 1949 he founded the Propordenone which accepts the leadership in 1957, for a year, during a difficult period for the institution. Among his many social engagements include support given to the formation popular University (then circle Humanitas), the dramatic society (later Group Theatre), and the promotion of theater productions. In 1975 he received a knighthood in 1976 of the Republic and the San Marco Prize. Public in 1948, yielding to the loving insistence of friends and admirers, published "The Bossina (ed. Cosarini, 1948). In 1970 the second edition of" The Bossina (Propordenone, 1970) altered the previous one. Four years Later the book "The path of the infinite" (Propordenone, 1974). Other poems have been published in local newspapers and magazines with great success.

1. La Frasca

Before discussing the specific topic of this discussion, you should set it up properly because it is not an isolated problem but rather must be studied as one of many media.
To achieve this goal, I will briefly discuss the personality and work of Ferdinand de Saussure (l857-l9l3), a Swiss linguist who, between the years 1906-1911, he dictated lectures in Geneva, which were collected by his students and published in book Course in General Linguistics. This work is the starting point of the most significant aspects of contemporary linguistics, especially structuralism.
One of the important concepts proposed by De Saussure is to sign, a technique that means "the combination of concept and image", ie the meaning and significance. Sign any visual system is also communication, especially writing but also of various codes of communication which can serve man, to send a message. Examples: the white smoke or black, during the conclave to elect a pope, to announce the success or failure of the vote, the military salute, bringing his hand on his forehead (originally, when two soldiers were entering notices against in talks to show their peaceful intentions, raised his right hand with the shield of armor that covered his face), the system which are worth the sailors to transmit messages by means of flags, the modern road signs, many tricks of which is advertising commercial or ideological.
of the signs of which man uses to transmit messages deals with semiotics (as proposed by De Saussure, derived from the greek semeion, "sign"), which studies the life of signs in the bosom of society. The language is just a part of this general science.
addition to the senses of hearing and sight, which are the most important, the man can make use of touch, taste and smell. To feel we mention the Braille for the blind, made up of raised dots that symbolize the letters of the alphabet, which is passing polpastelli decipher on the page.
the sense of taste has benefited from the culture gauchesca in Argentina, per trasmettere segretamente messaggi conosciuti solo dagli iniziati.
Dopo questa premessa, risulterà più facile comprendere come la parola frasca (in friulano fras’cje) al significato primitivo of "green branch with all the leaves," he added to "sign for a country inn, where they sell wine." From there comes the saying "good wine needs no bough ', that is, good wine and in general things that apply do not need advertising.
Until the eighties about the bough designated rural house where they sold their wine production. It was so named because the building was put outside a branch as a sign to advertise the product.
Inside the rural property you have the tables, rustic and outdoors, either under sheds, where he served as wine taverns. For more clarity, sometimes you put a sign that says Frasca. Guests sat at long tables next and could apply for the wine farm, a very good price, which was calculated based on the number of people who took part el the time during which stay in the room.
Meter frasca meant to "open a tavern in the country" in the manner described above. It is also used to put a branch on a construction site (house, barn, etc..) After he had placed the roof. With this trick, the workers demanded the owner of the building that offered a banquet inside the building. This practice was called to the incovo. Not only

2. LA OMOFONIA DI BACÀN "DIN, STREP" It Bacan "well-off farmers'

homophones are signs that represent the same sound. Example of the c-and q-heart level. Homophonic are the words that have the same sound but different meaning. Homophone is a word formed from the greek homos, "equal", "similar" and phono-, derived by Phone, "sound", "voice". Examples of homophony in Italian: fair, "beast" and proud, "the market" Hole, "openness" and the hole, "the center of Roman life" by singing the phrases, "to sing" ed'accanto, "near to side. "
Examples of homophony are found in all languages and even dialects of languages that are also less literary and social importance.
L 'homophony can mislead those not familiar with the etymology, which is why someone may think that bacan, "noise, noise and bacan," wealthy farmer "may have the same origin.
Bacan with the meaning of "noise" comes from "bacchanal" chaotic and orgiastic celebration in honor of Bacchus, the god of wine. Were famous in ancient times the Bacchanalia, which easily degenerated into noisy orgies.
Quindi: i zè una famèia de bacàni, means "is a family of wealthy farmers." In a poem by poet
Pordenone Ettore Busetto bacanoto a word appears, with the meaning of "riccaccione. Da'n musso bacanòto if x bears' n Agnelo, a lamb has gone from a donkey in the employ of wealthy landowners.
Bacan moved from Venice to Genoa, with the meaning of "master of the ship" and "rich person". In turn, the Genoese took the word in Argentina, especially Buenos Aires, in the famous neighborhood of La Boca (ie the "mouth" or "beginning" of the small river Riachuelo, a tributary of the Rio de la Plata), where The Genoese continued to perform maritime activities. This word was enriched with new semantic connotations: "Head", "rich man who flaunts his wealth and easy life, good looking," and play like a boy "before his time."
Bacan also in Argentina, means "generous man with women, who can afford to pay for them or fill them with gifts." And female Bacana designate the woman of easy virtue who lives with some bacan, as evidenced by the verse of a famous tango: "Ahora vas with a pasarla de los otarios Bacana / a lujoso reservado Petit Julien or ..." (translation "Now go with the simpletons, that can be easily deceived, to some posh restaurant or coffee for a couple of ambiguous licentious activities. " In another tango, the young man who lost the love of his girlfriend, telling her pelandruna abacanada is unleashed, that the slackers who you mean by the rich vicious. " 2
As you can see, the words with the men migrate from one country to another, are subject to many vicissitudes and many changes in phonetic, morphological and semantic features that make them unintelligible to speakers of the place of origin.

3. WILD VEGETABLES: The "Grisol"

When it comes to vegetables is thought especially to plants grown in gardens. There are also some plants that grow naturally e che, in altri tempi, venivano raccolte per le loro proprietà culinarie.
Tutte queste creazioni semantiche dimostrano che la fantasia non è unicamente a prerogative of poets, since even the lowly commoners have this option.

4. POPULAR

Personification Personification is the act or effect of personification, that is represented as a person, something abstract, or embody, give human form (or even animal and plant) to a point. All
polytheistic religions and especially those of ancient Greece and Rome, we offer numerous examples of personification. Here are some of Jupiter (Zeus) is the personification of the head of the family and therefore maximum. Apollo, envisioned as a young man of extraordinary beauty, symbolized in art and especially music and poetry. Venus (Aphrodite), however, was depicted as a beautiful woman, sensual, and therefore was a symbol of sexual love, fertility, from which springs life. Mars (Ares) symbolized the war. Mercury (Hermes) was the messenger of the gods and was represented with wings behind the foot and also to indicate the speed of communication and commerce.
There are also other embodiments that do not belong to penalty in the classical world of antiquity, but in later periods of classical culture. We will highlight just a few. The fairy

Fatum The Latin word meaning "prediction, oracle, prophecy." The plural fairy amounted to "fate, fatali vaticinio”.
Esempio: The fairy of the poor.

La Befana Befana
is a word that originally appears in the dialects of Northern Italy and is derived from the Latin word (s) piphan (i), in turn derived from the greek epipháneia (hier), parties of the article, namely the manifestation of the divinity of Jesus, called Christ. The consonant-p-(intervocalic voiced fricative) was transformed into-b-(voiced stop), a phenomenon typical of five dialects of Northern Italy. Then the e-initial fall. Then we have the current form witch.
At Epiphany, the Magi brought the baby Jesus, the gift of gold, frankincense and myrrh. To commemorate this fact narrated by the evangelist Matthew (2, 1-12), has arisen the custom of making gifts to children on the day of this feast. And it is the children of tender age that "materialize", so to speak, the facts, actions and abstract concepts. So the witch was depicted as an old charitable organization that is introduced to the chimney of the stove and bring them gifts during the night of the Epiphany. Befana accordingly passed to designate the gifts. But given the old look of this character, sometimes adding the pejorative meaning of "ugly old woman." The

maràntega
The first meaning of maràntega in Venetian dialect is "nightmare".

It's the equivalent of the French cauchemar, word composed of two elements: the first, Cauca, limestone comes from the Latin, "squeeze, crush, squeeze," similar to the dialect verb tails, the second element derives from the German Tues sea, " Witch "7. The
fràcola is portrayed as a bad woman, or a witch who enjoys jumping on the chest of people, giving them a sense of suffocation. It is therefore the embodiment of indigestion that causes unpleasant sensations in the sleeper.

La mare de San Piero
La mare de San Piero means rather violent thunderstorms occurring around the feast of St. Peter, 29 June. This atmospheric phenomenon has given rise to the proverb, "muttered the Co mare de San Piero, Brusa olives and impissa el cero."
The Gospels do not speak the mother of St. Peter, the apostle but of the mother-in-law who was healed by Jesus, and do not give you the evil powers. One wonders how he could rise to the legend that gave this designation to its summer weather phenomenon.
As we told you about fràcola, the High German word mara, "nightmare" was confused and was built over the sea, "mother", derived from the Latin matrem, mother, common name for yourself. Therefore, the personification of the weather phenomenon is easy. In Friuli
folklore there are many legends and tales related to Mari of San Piero, who is described as a bad woman and very jealous (one invidiosate), there's the saying "invidiôs as the seas of San Piero."
In this case we have moved from the idea of the nasty storm that causes harm to the equally unpleasant "resentment" and "hatred" "envy" for luck and happiness or the qualities of others, often combined with the desire that everything is become ill.

Scarampàna
Scarampàna Carampane comes from, a feminine noun, to which is added the prefix s-value-intensive or strengthened.
Carampane, in turn, derives from the name of a street in Venice, called "Ca Rampana", ie house Rampani, names of owners. Staying in that house prostitutes, old and ugly now that did not carry on trade or at most sad that lent themselves as pandering.
Ca Rampani was a place out of reach, unwelcoming and, for obvious reasons, far to the churches. Then one old woman Carampane taken to mean "bad old and decrepit." The s-intensive initial value.
From the idea of ugliness ugly goes to the equally unwelcome to "rebuke." From there comes the saying: "Me toca a mi ga hear scarampiàne many, it fell to me to hear so many accusations (or scolding, reprimands, reprimands) 8.

The poet of Rovinj Ligio Zanini in memory of Claudio Magris

loyal ZANINI, THE POET AND THE SEAGULL PHILIP
by Claudio Magris

On July 1, at 'hospital in Pula, crushed sixty-six years from a disease most' strong and indomitable vitality of his blood 'that had resisted tremendous violence history, and 'dead Ligio Zanini, a poet of great originality' and innovative creativity, of which only a few in Italy. including Franco Loi Scheiwiller and Vanni. had really noticed. With him and 'off a voice that expressed. with complete autonomy and no local closure, but with total openness to the world. the drama of 'Istria in the' last half century, a drama in which they are reflected on a reduced scale geographically but historically example, tension, tears, the disappointments, the contradictions, the conflicts in the world. Prior to being a poet in his charming lyrical Ligio Zanini and the 'state in life that he lived with passion, ingenuity,' honest 'incorruptible, courage and an extraordinary ability 'to fixate on things despite the injustice and suffering endured without flinching and to pay the price of their illusions. Born in Rovinj, the 'beautiful city' Istria in 1927 and incarnation. in his way of being and feeling, in music of his poetry and his life. centuries-old civilization of the 'Venetian, his kindness and strength, and Zanini' was anti fascist, anti hotly against the persecutory politics of Italian fascism Slavic. At the end of World War II, believed that communism in Yugoslavia Titoist which exceeded domestic disputes in a more 'high-brotherhood'. In the tragic moments of the war, when it decided the fate of 'Istria the international commissions in those lands came to try to understand the ethnic composition, Zanini, as he himself told me, while Italian was among those shouting in Croatian "We want to Tito during the visit of those delegations. Shortly after the 'exodus, which saw tens of thousands of Italians get out of' Istria, Zanini realized early on that the 'teaching of' internationalism disguised, in that moment of rescue, a Slavic nationalism indiscriminately violent towards the Italians. He himself knew the 'hell of the concentration camp at Goli Otok, the' island in which the Yugoslav government, after the big break with Stalin and the Stalinist fear of coups, he deported and subjected to violence and abuse of 'every Typically, real and alleged opponents of all persuasions, even libertarian communists like him. Released after three years for 'nightmare, Zanini lived, especially at the' beginning, among the various difficulties', he could go to Italy, where he had a 'different life, but he did not' cause as I said, did not seem just eat the hand that had spat, and also because 'he felt a duty to remain, to bear witness of its civilization' and its people the 'where it was' difficult, in the desolate situation of 'Istria, some more' hard for the Italians left, but the very hard condition of the exiles' were abandoned. A year ago, I was in the boat with him, in Rovinj. As he rowed, or docks, watching his gestures strong and quiet, her eyes still blue and shaped by the sea, and I think that 'men, the fisherman, had passed unscathed through inwardly disappointment, suffering and physical violence through the camp on Goli Otok , which he described in his novel Martin Muma, 1990, published in the journal The Battana River, an epic fresco of the history, and that 'all history of its people and choral fable of hope and disappointments of a utopian movement worldwide. For years, Zanini lived by the sea, with sails, fish and seagulls that gull File 'hypo (Filippo) with whom he converses in his poems. In his poems in dialect Rovinj. outputs in various collections and the recent volume Cun head to wind, and Scheiwiller. 's historical experience, the moral tension, the' adventure in time are present but not fused in the time of the sea, life looked face to face in its essence. When not 'folk vernacular, the dialect can' be a language for excellence in poetry, more 'resistant gears of rhetoric. Zanini certainly not uninterested in politics, followed the turbulent events with passion, full of hope and menace, of his land, but when they asked him to stand, he said that he, like other boys his age, belonged to a generation that had run its course and that regardless of its merits and faults, it should stay away. It took the boat and went off as he did now.

BIO-BIBLIOGRAPHY loyal ZANINI

Ligio Zanini was born in Rovinj, Istria September 30, 1927 - died on 1. July 1993 in the hospital in Pula crushed for 65 years from an incurable disease. He completed his studies at the Institute of Science in Pula, though very young he participated in the partisan struggle between the common file.
From 1947 to 1948, he was referring to the Italian schools of education at the Department of the Popular Committee.
Following the expulsion of Yugoslavia from the Cominform on charges of deviationism was called, like all other communist leaders, to take sides or Tito or Stalin.
him, as he said in a television interview, told of having been honored to have fought with them the Nazi-Fascists, but that from then on would be decided only by its head (hence neither with nor Tito with Stalin) and put on his party ticket. Therefore in January 1949 was among the first to suffer repression titin, finishing imprisoned in the terrible concentration camp on Goli Otok (Isola Calva).
was released only in 1952 and was forced to make the storage yard in the "Red Star" Pula remaining a special surveillance. With the help of some intellectuals
Polesine in 1956 he managed to get a job as an accountant in the enterprise business "are" in Pula.
Only in '59, finished his quarantine period, he was allowed to devote himself to teaching and was sent to Savudrija with the task of reopening the local Italian school, closed for political reasons in 1953. A Savudrija, where he remained five years, Zanini devoted himself passionately to spread Italian culture and founded the Italian Cultural Circle.
Back in Rovinj was again forced to live to devote himself to business accounts. Resumed his studies, he graduated from Pula in Pedagogy and even then resumed his teaching activities as a teacher in Valle d'Istria. Finally retired from teaching back to Rovinj, where he devoted himself exclusively to his two passions: poetry and fishing.
Member since 1970 Association of Writers in Croatia, you resigned in 1990 when it assumed, satisfying the rising Croatian nationalism, the name of the Association of Croatian writers. With his poetry
Ligio Zanini managed to emerge as a major poetic voice of Istria, achieving a certain notoriety in the national field, establishing among other things a strong and lasting friendship with the great poet of Grado, Biagio Marin, and many other Italian intellectuals including Trieste Claudio Magris.
For many, such as by Bruno Maier, his work is compared with that of Biagio Marin, however, where in the Grade poet singing lyrical introspection becomes a serene view of life in the embrace God's final, in Ligio Zanini, even speech that apparently seems to be more introspective and lyrical, in fact conceals the bitter end in his fate of Rovinj: or foreigners or refugees in their city to the world without the contact of reviving their mother land.
In this perspective, the only reassuring note is the sea, the nature of Rovinj that while also changed, at least to the poet speaks the same language as always.
But also the nature, fish, gulls become a metaphor, as in the poem "Sensa nom", his tortured existential condition, the symbol itself di quella di tutto un popolo.

What Are The Effects Of Hemorrhoids?

The Spoken Istro-Venetian

(da istria.net)

History of Istria in its three millennia is very complex. There is good evidence of human presence as early as the Paleolithic period in prehistoric times. The history preserves the memory of immigration of Venetians at the time of the Trojan war. Occurs in the fifth century the invasion of the Celts "gens et fera valid," as Appian. Following the Roman conquest in 177 BC The Romans founded Aquileia on the doorstep "of the ports of Italy and from there began to radiate a deep romanization.

So on a substrate pre-Roman in Istria (Veneto, Celtic or pre-Indo) was superimposed on the Latin of Aquileia. Derive from the Latin vernacular of the province novels Istrian dialects Istriot south of Istria and a language type friuleggiante north but could also be non-native, but imported from Friuli. With the collapse of the Roman Empire in 476 began the barbarian invasions. This was followed by the Ostrogoths, the Byzantines, the Lombards, the Franks, who introduced the feudal system, but not shaken the romanization. The Slavs from the seventh century are considered an exception. Istria had a friendly relationship and sympathy with Venice. The Adriatic linked the two populations. Istrians began the dedication to the Republic of Venice in 932 with Koper. In 1420 the Venetians put an end to the secular power of the patriarchs of Aquileia. The first such extended their dominion over the Veneto. The domain will endure fino al 1797.

Fu così che, ove maggiori furono i contatti fra le due rive dell'Adriatico o maggiore la possibilità di subirne the greatest influence was the grafting of "Venice" in the primitive vernacular Istrian and their mutual fusion and assimilation had spoken several life which splits the region:

Ladin portrayed the now dominant, but once in Friuli and Trieste Muggia;
spoken in Istria Rovinj Dignano, Wales, and Fasana Valley;
i1 Venetian Istria in all other locations. "(Note 1).
Keep in mind that, having been Istria depopulated and repopulated, the phenomenon of linguistic change is very complex.

The main causes of the depopulation of the territory of Istria are due to outbreaks of plague and malaria that decimated the population from the thirteenth to seventeenth secolo.

Lo stato directed migration and colonization from 1500 onwards. You try to repopulate the Istria with Italians, Greeks, Morley, Albanians, Montenegrins, Slovenes and Croats. There were 102 recorded times of colonization from the fifteenth to the seventeenth century. The recovery was reflected

important language. The Czoernig studied the Slavs in 1851 on behalf of Austria, and distinguished them in 17 language groups. The new settlers came into contact with the Slavic population of cities and the population of the Istrian countryside became bilingual. "In the south of the peninsula, where the item before the sixteenth century Italian novel was predominant colonization meant the start of the process that would lead to the formation of two spheres between their different cultural and introduction of a "balance" sui generis. When we talk about "balance" between the Italian and Croatian cultural sphere is not meant to Istria southern emphasize the presence of a "validity" and a "role" in the same local area and in the most far-ranging, but First of all, the fact of the future setting of a balance in the sense of "acculturation," in which the strongest Italian culture failed to assimilate the weaker of Croatia. The process of "acculturation" has not resulted in Istria, the contacts and relations between "cultures" ethnically divergent remained within the limits of a "equiibrio" sui generis "(Note 2).

Membership Istria language in the eighteenth century was composed of three linguistic communities: Croatian, Italian and Slovenian. The process of linguistic venetizzazione Istria we follow over time roughly in three distinct phases.

The "first phase" includes a few centuries - from the tenth to thirteenth - in which Venice or defeats in friendly relations with the coastal cities of Istria binds to itself in the "bond of loyalty." The coastal Istria became politically Venetian and the Venetian administrative language. There was an initial phase of co-existence of two codes: the Venetian dialect, and the Istrian preveneti. It seems logical that the Venetian from the fourteenth to the fifteenth century was limited to specific situations and functions.

The "second phase" venetizzazione goes to the sixteenth century to the early nineteenth century. E 'in this period, in 500, that the Tuscan language was imposed as the national gradually replacing i1 Venetian. The Venetian was high communication tool. It looked like koiné province.

The "third phase" sees the weakening and defeat of the Venetian Republic's political and economic. The Trieste, venezianeggiante dialect, replaced the Tergestina, friuleggiante dialect in the nineteenth century. In Istria Trieste spread the linguistic model without much difficulty, when the Free Port Trieste becomes economically replaced Venice. "Ne1'800 Trieste became the head of the koine Julian Veneto (Note 3). The third venetizzazione is thus marked by the interference of Trieste on the Istrian Venetian dialect.

In the early nineteenth century some philosophical ideas sparked a number of events. Were romanticism and philosophical idealism in conflict with the German culture of classical Greek and Roman rescued their middle ages. The idealism leads one to think the "spirit of nations" (Hegel). This idea has burst in Europe for some instances demographic, constitutional and the other, Europe is covered by a defined voltage irredentist. The Austria was confronted with irredentism Polish, Hungarian, Italian, Croatian. The language awareness began to bloom by multiple parties. This created situations of dynamism positive conflict. The contribution of the new dynamism of Trieste was accompanied by economic expansion, which opened the way to be notified of large Istria using a large volume of communication dialect. In the western part of the recovery there was a large part of the continuum language novel. The Venetian dialect-Trieste quickly regained all its prestige. Italian speakers gradually acquired land. The phenomena of acculturation and bilingualism are not always involved changing language. It is precisely this fluidity of the border etnicolinguistico that characterizes the third phase of venetizzazione Istria.

In the twentieth century Istria knew the season of totalitarianism. Vennero italianizzati quasi tutti i cognomi slavi. This led to mass exodus of Italian speakers. In addition to the historical continuum of dialect istroveneto, here drawn, there is the possibility of autochthony systems Venetian dialect in Istria, supported by Decarli. This view is rejected by Crevatin, who argues that it is not scientific. "Just think about this trivial item:" Venetian "is not equivalent to" Venetian ", despite the mixed use that is made of these designations, and the Istrian dialects (not to mention those Istriot, of course) are either scientifically Venetian watch If the dialect of those who have the right 'Istria between the fourteenth and eighteenth centuries (Note 4).

Metronidazole How Long Does It Take To Work

Biagio Marin. The life, poetry

Biagio Marin was born June 29, 1891 in Grado. The son of an innkeeper, still lost his mother early in life and is raised by his paternal grandmother. He began his studies at age nine, in Gorizia, where he attended the preparatory course, then the German language school, Italian language study more, because it wants the curriculum of the Habsburg Empire. He attended the Royal School of Higher then in Pazin (Istria). In 1911 he went to Florence where he attended the Environment literary "voice" of Prezzolini There he meets Julian writers like him (Slataper, and Giani Carlo Stuparich, Saba, Giotto), but also Jahier, Salvemini, Amendola, also deepens the knowledge of Renaissance culture that had a great fascination in him the early art studies. In 1912 he went to Vienna where he attended for two years, the faculty of philosophy, he knows the music of Beethoven and Bach, reads Russian and Scandinavian authors and meet different people, including the Austrian educator Forster, who will have little influence in its subsequent choices of study and work. In '14 he returned to Florence where he became engaged to Pina Marini, who married the following year and with whom he had four children. After the events in Sarajevo, is obliged to fulfill his military obligations as a Habsburg subject, but manages to desert in Italy, where he wants to enlist as a volunteer. We will only succeed after Caporetto because of tuberculosis that had hit him in the meantime.
After the First World War, he graduated in philosophy in Rome and then taught for two years Master of Philosophy and Pedagogy Institute Gorizia. But to leave the teaching contrasts with the local clergy: he had brought the Gospel as a pedagogical text. He then school inspector of the district to accept, until 1923, when it passes to lead (for 14 years) the holding bathing and care of Grado from 1938 to 1941 returned to teach (literature, philosophy and history in Trieste), then (until 1956) is the librarian at the Trieste branch of Assicurazioni Generali. Deeply marked by the death of his son Falco (July 25, 1943), Slovenia, in 1945 joined the CNL of Trieste, and became president on April 27. From 1968 back to Grado, where he remained until his death in '85. Among the collections of verse, published since 1912 with the "File de tapo" include: "The Litany of the Madona" (1949), "usual" (1961), "Istrian Elegies" (1963), "In no time of the Sea "(1965)," El mar de eternal "(1967)," The songs of the island "(1970 - collect all the poems published until 1969)," Life x FIAMA " (1972), "A Sol Cala" (1974), "El critoleo fracassao body" (1976, dedicated to Pasolini), "In Memory" (1978), "In the tense silence" (1980), "Poems" ( 1981), "The Vose of the evening" (1985).
Biagio Marin also wrote verses in Italian (mention: "Aquamarine" of 1973) and prose, many critical contributions, including those of Guagnini, Bo, Pasolini, Serra, Marabini and Magris. On the centenary of the birth of the great poet, critic and writer Claudio Marabini it drew a concise, clear and precise profile as linked to the sea. On 29 June (day of the birth of Marin), speaking at the third "Faenza Folk Festival in 1991, one of the most important events poetic-musical Italian, named - coincidentally - Frontiers of land and sea, so Marabini Marin said: "In his Venetian dialect Grado - full of light, sky, sea - the sea is a sea with no name, no limits, undone into pure light. In it, he, the poet, is dissolved as a poet, singing the places of his life, his land. Throughout the poem in dialect and Italian, no one else has touched the sea as Biagio Marin. "
is from this fact, the sea, the original report and the original with it that we want to talk about Biagio Marin, a poet from the border, and his poetry, poetry of the sea, but above the waters of the Adriatic coast north-east (from the valleys Comacchio - history, fairy tales and memories - The Venetian lagoon on the Feast of the Redeemer, until, of course, the sea of the Marin Venezia Giulia). In human and poetic Biagio Marin, their homeland, the landscape that has given birth, who welcomed in particular his childhood and, then, by '68 the last eighteen years of his life, was decisive . Able at the end of the last century was a small and isolated island (not a pun) of the lagoon between the mouths of the Isonzo and Tagliamento.
Only later would be released from its centuries of isolation to become a tourist destination first Habsburg, Venetian and then central Europe, then a commercial center and fishing connected to the mainland and the nearby Istria. The lagoon sea level, open, always moving to the east and west, with the shrine of Barban nearby, apparently motionless in the north, with expanses of light on water to get lost in constantly changing colors and extended beyond the plain of Friuli Aquileia in the distance , constitutes the essential poetry of Marin. The sea is infinite space where the poet was inspired and in which to wander, to seek, find out everything, the whole unit, recognized meaning of life and all life, human and otherwise. In 1980, in a kind of literary confession, Marin said, inter alia, that "the sea was for me the most literal word of Otherness and the most immediate embodiment of Divinity. The sky, and above the firmament, of course, was also the divine word, but the sea was something more. It's like the air you can breathe. The sea saw it and not just see him, but I dive into it, I knew its quirks, its beauties, the wonderful hours of "onIy" and the hours of the storm, her life took part. Moreover, my parents were all sailors, and we went out with the owners of a lugger which I, with my father, I have sailed many times the coast of Istria. Right there, within my sea I had the first, easier detection of the presence of God. "The sea for Marin can not be detached from life, from his things, the circumstances and the reality, from life great inspiration of his poem: "God, I know a poet el" (God, his poet); Marin recognizes and discovers that life is unitary. For better or for worse "saw and heard everywhere - as he called the writer and essayist Claudio Magris - even pain and death, his unit, the possessed and intoxicated with disturbing sensuality that was desirable, even to die, not only gulls flying in the summer sky but also the dead seagulls on the sand and started to dissolve, which took in hand almost with longing. "
Inside the unity of life is poetry, not seen as something separate, intellectual, but as something that "is inside." In fact, he got angry Marin or scoffed if someone told him that he was writing poetry. The poem "is not intellectual construct, made up of will and discipline. I, many times between waking and sleep, I see myself in many poems which then let go because I wake up dry, but altrevolte fixed in two minutes in the paper poetry I've already found me. " The sea was also the site of Marin for peace, serenity found, perhaps because of that first discovery, perhaps because of the insight of life as a whole, especially after the great moments of suffering in the past: the death of his son Falco (in '43 in war) to the suicide of his grandson Guido in '77, after the death of his wife Pina blindness in '78 and almost deafness occurring in the seventies. The poem that becomes the place of living, the presence alone is worth that "the Word, my only refuge," is the title of his collection significantly written the beginning of the eighties - despite "all that can fall upon a man-sighted and naive , ruled out any bitterness, "as he wrote brilliantly Pier Paolo Pasolini. The poet is still there, surrounded, "to make one with the sea, the sky, with the gulls, with the children, with the sands, with the marshes, with the sun, the fire covering the world of sex with his blue lava. While learning all, our poet has learned nothing. Every time is like the first time (even Pasolini). He is not afraid nor love, nor death, can even talk about this without the mediation of a language that does not feel his (Italian), but with that of the heart, that of the motherland, the Venetian Grado, a dialect of his, which enriched with new words and with expressing his "power generation"

virgilio Giotti, when Trieste became the language of poetry

Giotti Virgil was born in Trieste on January 15, 1885 by Richard and Emilia Schönbeck Gheotto, hence the name of art. Brought to attend the School of Industrial Design, from which came several generations of painters and sculptors from Trieste. In 1907, in order to avoid military service in Austria, fled to Florence where he met Scipio Slataper, Stuparich brothers, Alberto and Spaini Biagio Marin. At San Felice in Val d'Ema, near Florence, in 1911 Schekotoff meets Nina, a native of Moscow and makes it the partner of his life. In Tuscany, her three children were born: Tanda in 1913, Paul in '15 and France in '19. For travelers living in Valtellina, in Carnia, Switzerland to sell toys and crafts from Tuscany. Start writing in dialect of Trieste in 1909. In Florence the publisher Gonnelli the public in 1914 the Little Trieste dialect songs in the collection of poems composed between 1909 and 1912. Back in Trieste in 1919 and went to live in the suburbs, in Montebello, Via La Marmora 34 (you will remain until the end of his days). In those years, opened a little shop of newspapers in Stari Grad, which will last one year. His friends found him a job at the National League. Meet daily Saba Stuparich, the painter and the young Roberto Bolaffio Bazlen. In 1920 the Library of Ancient and Modern Saba published his poems and prose language, written between 1916 and 1919, under the title My heart and my home. In 1928, for the editions of Solaria out Caprizzi, songs and stories. In 1930 Giotto was hired as casual workers in the administration of the General Hospital and will remain so until his retirement in 1957. In 1931, at the publisher Florentine Parenti, released his fourth film, opera and romances, which collects new poems written in language between 1920 and 1924, and the group of poems Edition Trieste My heart and my home. They go out on a number of other poems in national journals, "Circles," "Opera", "Solaria", "Ateneo Veneto" and in 1941, with the publisher Parenti, leaving the poems composed between 1928 and 1936, with the title Colors. In 1943, for the three Venetian editions, released the complete works of poetry in dialect, composed from 1909 to 1943, for which he holds the title of Colours collection. At the heart of his work lies the drama of death in Russia's two sons, Paul and Franco, during the last war. The story was made even more tragic by the fact that their mother was Russian. In the months leading up to the end, that occurred an intense exchange of letters with his father (also published in 2005 under the title Letters to his father, Virgil dialogue between Giotto and children during the Russian campaign for The Golden Bough Publisher), which remains a high human and civil document, not without a very considerable literary interest, as stressed in the introduction the book containing their letters, Cesare Segre. The father's poems provide us with valuable feedback on his work in verse, in anticipation of those events useless (the diary will be released posthumously in 1959 for The Zibaldone Anita Pittoni), born after the war, which Pasolini define a masterpiece of the twentieth century and Giani Stuparich in short introductory text to those pages he wrote: "I confess to have read the first time these diaries with the tight throat and a strong narrowing of the heart ..." In 1946 two friends Trieste Emilio Dolfi and Manlio Malabotta publish in just over 100 copies Sera, which collects poems written between 1943 and 1946, the work will be reprinted in 1948 by the publisher Turin De Silva. In 1949, in only 25 samples out of business, leaving the Poems for Carlota, composed between June 30 and July 4, 1949. The latest collection of poems, Poems, will be published by The Zibaldone in 1953. In June 1957 the Accademia dei Lincei awarded him the prize "Feltrinelli" for poetry. The collection of all his poems (except for the Poems Carlota), Colors, published by Richards and the poet will barely have time to proofread, will be released posthumously.

Giotti Virgil died in Trieste, September 21, 1957.

This blog has not been abandoned!

A presto!

The Grado Marano, language is not recognized. AC Morocco

THE DIALECT OF THE ISLAND GRADE:
THE POET, PATRIOT AND PROFESSOR SEBASTIAN Scaramuzza
the great poet Biagio Marin
and liturgy.

important subject of interest and validity of current and past Grado dialect Augusto C. Morocco has sent the following contribution to cognitive Telecapodistria, which recently aired on a cultural service and simultaneously sent a copy for posting on the site www.grado-online.net very happy that we publish.

"Given that the degree of dialect is always, and then again today, currently spoken in the family and in society (including government offices), so it is a speech that continuing to play its unique role of transmitter and cultural traditions, I would like to make here, between you and your other commitments employed there and those which might be of interest, a brief presentation. I would particularly like to remember, even if briefly, as this dialect, which is vital for the Island of Gold, has expressed itself in practice in the past century, articulated in analysis and studies and artistic experiences.
Grado's speech was held at the font with a prestigious essay by Graziadio Isaia Ascoli at the end of the nineteenth century, on the recommendation of Professor Sebastiano Grado Scaramuzza which must be an urgent study on the subject of youth. There is also a glossary of essay (1979) and vocabulary (1995), respectively, L: DeLuise and A. Corbatti. There are countless other essays and articles published. The Grado
written, especially in poetry, there is a really oceanic production. In addition to the first documents in Caprin (1890), the aforementioned Scaramuzza (poetry, prose and translations from greek) and Domenico Marchesini (also verse and prose), we have the star of Biagio Marin, proposed for the Nobel Prize, which In his lyrics actually gave dignity to our spoken language from beginning to end of the century. XX: he gave the story a truly indelible monument to poetry and graisan. In addition, many are the so-called "minor", some also note that John Siata, Marchesan Mauro, Salvatore Degrassi, Degrassi Lucio, Edy Tonon, Antonio Zentilin, etc.., while people over fifty years, now with Patrón Aldo handles', organizing an their song festival (the best of the catwalk then remain in everyone's heritage and are sung at festivals, such as those with the texts of James Zuberti for example, Mario and Mario Pigo Bohemian Dissette of Honorius, Enzo Italy and Alberto Camuffo, with many others deserving of mention, including musicians from Attilio Gordini Dante Marchesan Sumann and Nandi, Matteo Tognon Ferruccio Olivotto, EA Martin and Gino Zuliani Seba). We can now also talk of a theater Grado with the binomial and John Svettini Stiata and talented actors such as Giglio Bohemian Nevio Scaramuzza. Consider that before the war we had a troubadour, recalled Piero Islands, which invented the spot on guitar his songs and rhymes, and even in our times there are true artists, authors of texts and music full of Grado doc tragic pathos and irony as a commoner and Cyan Siege Tronbài. There are even authors Grado, the dialect that it wanted to study and then were able to put it very well in practice, such as Trieste and Friuli Aurelio Ciacchi Lelo Cjanton.
In recent years we have spoken for the first time in history, has turned to the sacred texts, with my translation Grado of S. Mass of its patron, whose sequence is recited in our Cathedral (Basilica of St. Euphemia) during the solemn celebration of the Holy Martyrs Ermacora and Fortunato in the presence of city authorities, and the Te Deum sung, in symbiosis with the people, directly by the late Msgr. Silvano Fain, who specifically asked me to translate. Finally, in order to celebrate the Jubilee of 2000 and remembering the late Monsignor greeted at the entrance of the new Grade Archpriest Mgr. Armando Zorzin, has just published a book with the translation of the Gospel of St. Mark Grado, also edited by me. Even tracks in the gospel were read in the Cathedral of Grado during solemn and appropriate functions. I also very pleased to announce that I'm here working for years on three different projects in our dialect and its genesis: what to emphasize that there is always someone who wants a degree to do something that will not be lost in time, this ancestral treasure of the people .
In conclusion I would say that, although there can be a real language formally recognized, however, we are on track, despite having also presuppoosti here briefly enumerated. Surely we are dealing with a dialect with its own original character, as distinguished from the surrounding area and spoke in a very clearly defined.

languages spoken in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Veneto

Composition multilingual of Friuli Venezia Giulia

Meeting Place and the intersection of the three great European civilizations, the
Latin, Germanic and Slavic, Friuli Venezia Giulia area
linguistic and cultural complex in which, next to the language
Italian (in its standard form and in its regional variants), live
languages other novels, Slavic and Germanic that make the region a truly multilingual
own microcosm. The main types
Romance 'native' are respectively the Friuli
representing the eastern variant of an autonomous linguistic (Ladino), and the Venetian
, practiced either in the form 'colonial' Venezia Giulia and
typical of the main urban centers of Friuli in the form of adstrato and finally, for example in places
lagoon, as we speak of an ancient settlement.
regard to the component slavofona, there are compact territories
expression Slovenia on the border in the provinces of Trieste and Gorizia
well as several scattered communities in the province of Udine, in the valleys of
Natisone (Slavia Veneta) and Tower and Resia, in the Valley and Channel
Tarvisio, then include the German-speaking islands in the province of Udine in
Timau, near the town of Paluzza, and Sauris. You must then
deal with the regional Italian, which is now how
expressive large circle of no more speakers dialect speakers. This complex set of types
idiomatic helps to delineate, as you can see a panorama
language much richer than you think, in which there are now also
many foreign languages, reflecting the ethnic composition of
today's society.
Regarding specifically the linguistic repertoire of
Friuli area, it is very complex and not fully or in part in the schemes of
bilingualism nor diglossia.
In terms of the number of varieties carried a first
specificity in Friuli is the existence of widespread provided in three languages, namely that
involves the presence, alongside Italian and Friulian, one or more variants of
Venetian dialect. In the major cities of the Friuli (Udine, Palmanova,
Cervignano etc.). The linguistic repertoire of speakers - and in particular
who belong to certain social strata as middle class tradesmen and
- may in fact be enriched by a third variety, a type of Venetian 'colonial',
inherited from the Venetian domination, which it shares with the role of the Italian language
prestige should be noted that, after a certain period of considerable
'required', this variety is experiencing a degree of regression to the benefit
positive connotation of the other language in a social sense, ie Italian.
In other areas of the Friuli (Pordenone and close in the provinces of Venice, Treviso and Belluno
) depends on the presence of the Venetian geographical proximity, in some cases may
alongside others in the Friuli also supplant use. From the perspective of
tipodiregimebilingue, there arises the question whether the relationship between
and Italian Friuli or the Veneto and Italian
adhere more to the patterns of bilingualism or diglossia
of those (of course when living side by side all three varieties, the alternative will arise between
trilingualism and triglossia). The answer here is to articulate the need
: if until some time ago should probably talk about
diglossia, because the two codes are completely separate in the repertoire of
speakers and perform additional functions (the formal communication practices were exclusively entrusted
Italian, the Friulian against
was typically restricted to family conversation, communication with friends and with people
notes), today the relationship between Italian and Friulian
better interpreted in terms of bilingualism as they can take partial overlap and
functional connections: one is in fact the Friuli
also under the pressure of the phenomenon of self-identification e di ‘lealtà linguistica’, è

(comuni Lugugnana and Bevazzana).
- Energy
estimates of maximum (the most recent research is implied by the condition
sociolinguistics of Friuli, Udine 2001, edited by Linda
Peak and coordinated by Raymond Strassoldo), in relation to a pool of potential
estimated 715,000 inhabitants in , Friulian is actually applied by 57.2%
of the resident population of around 430,000 speakers. Variety of Friuli-

According to the analysis of Francis 1982a, pp. 65-67
is possible to distinguish between the following varieties:
a) Friulian "central"
b) variety of Gorizia;
c) type Carnian;
d) type of Carnia West "that meets in the valley of the
Degano and its branches in the valley of Arzino" (p. 66);
e) western Friuli.
varieties are considered atypical of the area and Forni Forni di Sotto Sopra (
exposed to venetizzanti models), the upper valley of the Cellina Erto dialect.
2. Talk Venetian practiced in the territory of Friuli Venezia Giulia All
? Interior of the territory of Friuli Venezia Giulia are also practiced
Veneto varieties representing different matrices.
2.1 Variety Venetian
ancient settlement to be considered as such on the one hand speak of Grado and Marano lagoon
and other so-called bisiacco, which are "probably
the direct continuation of the local late Latin "(Francis).
The dialects of Grado and Marano have managed to maintain their footprint
Venetian dialect despite the proximity to the mainland of expression
compactly Friulian (close to Grado and Marano are Indeed
respectively Aquileia and Carlino are centers friulanofoni); about
variety of Grado and Marano has spoken of 'the Venetian lagoon' (Marcato Carla
) for both the geographic scope for both the historical connection with the collection of
similar centers that are distributed throughout the lagoon
Upper Adriatic until Chioggia.
Regarding the bisiacco (locally Bisiach)
is practiced in the southern province of Gorizia, known as the Territory, with reference center
Monfalcone. However, the real bisiacco not talking
in this town (where, if anything, we use a sort of Trieste or bisiacco
contamination from Trieste so that we can no longer define that), "but
its hinterland, in a triangle whose sides the Gulf of Panzano, the course from the mouth of the Isonzo
(Sdobba) to the Sacred and the hilly ridge, which terminates the plateau karst
... to the gates of Monfalcone itself "(Doria 1986, p. 481
the rest.). In the wake of Pellis 1930, Zamboni confirms the demarcation of the
dialect bisiacca triangle with Sagrado - San Canzian d'Isonzo -
Monfalcone and indicates how best preserved in the centers of Pieris, Begliano
and Fogliano. Overall, according to the classification of Pfister, the common dialect
bisiacca are included in Monfalcone, Staranzano
Ronchi dei Legionari, San Canzian d'Isonzo, Turriff, San Pier d'Isonzo, Fogliano
Redipuglia and Sagrado, all in the province of Gorizia.
about the origin of this variety, some have attributed to a superposition of a Venetian idiom
strain Friulian (Pellis) and instead there who (Crevatin 1978), on the basis of new and more
extensive materials, advances the hypothesis "that it can piuttosto essere il risultato
giudicato prossimo a quello parlato in territorio trevigiano-bellunese), e dunque
dovuto a diretto contatto linguistico.
Mezzomonte - Polcenigo - Vigonovo - Fontanafredda - leaving out Palse
Sacile Sarone.
It must in particular consider the so-called Venetian-Friulian dialect, spoken
hybrid systems in a band "as part of the plateau Cansiglio to
Livenza sources, and includes Polcenigo, Budoia, Aviano (with
relativefrazioni) Vigonovo, Fontanafredda, PALS (in the town of Porcia), ipaesi
between Pordenone and Azzano Decimo (eg Cimpello), ban, and
Pescincanna Farturlongo in the town of Fiume Veneto, with Chions Villotta,
Bagnarola "(Rizzolatti 1996).
a particular position it is finally spoken to the Venetian city of Pordenone
that in the social strata exhibits a high Venetian and Venetian-style
in the lower middle class is close to that of Treviso (March 2001, p. 46).

2.3 Veneto 'colonial'
The adjective 'colonial' refers to those varieties of Veneto, in
as practiced in areas not adjacent to those where the Venetian is native, not
owe their geographical spread to a contact but the prestige that Venice,
with its ruling class, was able to radiate outside its borders
following the supremacy of the Serenissima (
we refer in particular to the period between 1420 and 1797 when the west-central Friuli
it was in the jurisdiction of the Republic of Venice). These varieties
as it were 'parachuted' from the top because "the relationship between Friuli and Veneto
does not happen in this case through the contact between two communities who speak their own dialects
popular, that is, say through a horizontal contact ,
but through a vertical contact, so to speak, through a process of
acquisition by social class more interested in mobility, a variety
more socially prestigious as spoken by the ruling classes of the Friuli,
of Venetian origin ( Vanelli 2000, p. 259).
In Friuli Udine the Venetian colonial varieties are rooted mainly in
intermedi come Palmanova, Spilimbergo, Codroipo.
semplicemente "triestino"), Graziadio Isaia Ascoli (Saggi ladini, 1873, p. 479)
tocca Monfalcone e poi, risalendo il through the area during the Isonzo bisiacca
(Ronchi, Pieris, Sagrado, etc..) reaches the city of Gorizia
finally running out around the middle Isonzo "(south-east of Cormons) where it meets the type of Venetian
"koine" Udine "(Francis 1964, repr. 1970, p. 61).

3. Slovenian
The presence of a Slovene minority in the State dates back
Italian annexation of the Province of Venice ", following the peace treaty
of October 3, 1866, that at the end of the Third War of Independence, included in the boundaries of
the inhabitants of the kingdom "Slavia Veneta. The modest
abundance of the settlement and the cultural climate unwilling to
promotion of minority cultures, meant that until the First World War
the group remained entirely devoid of legal protection.
The balance would be changed at the end of World War
when it became part of the Italian state to be a part of the Slovenian language area
Val Canale in the province of Udine and the other above the large population of well over
Slovenian of Venezia Giulia. It then poses the problem of identity
firmly within the Italian community in Slovenia;
strongly resisted in the period of fascism, the Slovenian community has
gradually gained a well-defined position in the second
war until the recent approval of legislation introduced by the Law No 38, 2001.
The Slovenian is spoken with different degrees of protection and vitality, in
provinces of Trieste, Gorizia and Udine.
In the province of Trieste are the Slovenian parliament
in the center of town, in the periphery (Chiarbola, Servola Guardiella, Barcola, Gretta, Scorcola,
Roiana) and in the surroundings of the town of Trieste (Trieste over Holy Cross,
Prosecco, Contovello , Villa Opicina, Trebiciano Basovizza), as well as in common
around Trieste (S. Dorligo Valley, Duino-Aurisina/Devin-Nabrežina, Sgonicco,
Monrupino).
In the province of Gorizia, the Slovenian parliament still lives in
suburbs of the city and in the hills north of the city (Collio). For the province of Udine
speak Slav resist
in Val Canale, Resia, in the valleys of the Tower and Natisone;
evidence is right to put the complex situation in the Val Canale
linguistic elements which coexist in the world novel, Germanic Slavic and is the only case in which
meet these three cultures.

In the absence of a general linguistic census (the question on membership
language, be made available until 1961 for the sole province of Trieste
, has not been proposed in the next census), a quantification of the population
Slovenian language is difficult, however, it is a good approximation
calculated from a minimum of 50 and a maximum of
100 000 people.

1)
traditionally interpreted as a continuation of the lat. bis aquae "in allusion to the fact that the area is located between the rivers
Timavo and Soca (the wording is taken from Marcato 2002, p. 342, n. 119), the term is more likely
reconnected with it. geezer, alluding to a speech stunted, or SLOV. bezjak "stupid" or better in
specific value of "refugee, fugitive," perhaps with reference to "the people who are refugees or
transferred this land to escape wars and invasions (Vicar 2005, p. 30).

Domenico Tempo, 1980, Marano Lagunare

"Easter will or will not arrive with the leaf, so we told our elders and we, first to set foot on the ground, thanking the Lord for all health that gave us the first season of the year, we went along the banks to take the first white flowers to make a bunch and take it to Mother, she reciprocated with kisses and many hard-boiled eggs painted with many different colors, go for the aftermath in the streets to play with half penny. At Easter
mothers told us the story of the Passion of Christ and then, barefoot, went through the streets dragging the chains of the stove to clean the haze, but also to have some money in more than pay for those holidays go well.
The mothers told us again: creatures, do not go barefoot in the streets, which threatens to hurt you then, dear children, is still cool outside, then ready the grandfather replied, "It's March, who has no shoes to go barefoot" and we runway pulling the rope to which were attached to chains. It was beautiful even on Good Friday.
the evening after the sermon on the Passion, when he followed the procession through the streets lit, I still remember the beautiful altars with the white cross and the lamb she called her mother, poor thing, was filled with fear hear the noise of wood frogs dall'altarino while he could not move because it is connected, and then the children most children were in the kitchen with their mothers to touch and caress it.
At Easter, a time after the Mass of the nine we went to the tavern or "Binte" or "Ridischina" and ate the fried eel with white wine and a good one so soon, we were all happy.
